Subject: B.E.S.T. Home Program - Important message - Please read thouroughly     TO:  All Attendees of the B.E.S.T. Home Program(SM) Drawing FROM:  Steve Baudo, Baudo & Associates Home Builders, Inc. DATE:  April 29, 2008   I want to take this opportunity to thank each of you for attending   yesterdays drawing and assigning of the sponsor homes.  As I said yesterday,  it is both an honor and a privilege to serve your charitable organization to   the best of my ability.   Yesterday, I announced that in addition to the donation your group would   receive from each of your sponsor homes, I would donate an additional   $500.00 to each organization.  I was not thinking properly when I said that,   and would like to make a correction.   Since there are seven groups, and seven sponsor homes, the additional   donation should have been $700.00 each instead of $500.00.  So this week   instead of the $500.00 check your group would have been issued, you will   each receive a check for $700.00.  Please accept my apology for not thinking   that through.   Some of you may have caught the 5:00 p.m. WIS-TV and the well- intentioned  piece they did.  While I appreciate the recognition, I do not feel that it   helped my stated goal for this program.  To me, it seemed to promote me and  my company more than your organizations, and why I am doing this in the   first place.   As I indicated at the drawing yesterday, my goals are to: (1)  Bring attention to the diminished donations that charitable groups, as   a whole, have experienced as a result of the current economic climate. (2)  Set an example for other businesses and individuals, and inspire and   entice them to take similar action in support of yours, and all other   charitable groups. (3)  Through initiating this program, and causing others to do the same,   infuse possibly tens of thousands of dollars in the coffers of charitable   organizations in our community.   To be sure, if my goal was to promote my company, the $30,000.00 that I will  be contributing would have purchased a tremendous amount of television and  newspaper advertising.  This is not my intention.  The goal is to get the   word out that charities, yours included, need help this year now more than   ever.  My cumulative donation is a drop in the bucket.  We need to inspire   businesses and individuals with deeper pockets than mine to follow my lead.   We need others to get involved, and get off the cash that they are sitting   on.   I am calling on each of you to help me achieve this goal.  If we can do   this, it will mean far more funds for your group and other groups than I   could, by myself, contribute.  There is a saying that goes like this:  Lead,   Follow, or Get out of the way.  I have always been a leader, and I know each   of you are leaders or you wouldn't be involved in charitable work.   Those who know me know that I am passionate in whatever I do.  I am asking  everyone to help me achieve the stated goals above.  It is important for   you, it is important for me, and it is important for the community.   Thank you all.   Sincerely, Steve Baudo Baudo & Associates Home Builders, Inc.   stevebaudo@baudohomes.com Office: (803) 996-4779 Fax: (803) 996-1458 Cell Phone: (803) 237-3746
